Kuala Lumpur, 7 August 2025 โ The Federation of Malaysian Business Associations (FMBA) successfully hosted the ASEAN Business Community Development (ABCD) Forum 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, under Malaysiaโs ASEAN Chairmanship. The event was held with the strong support of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF), Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (ACCI Malaysia), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), Tenaga Nasional Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, DRB-HICOM Berhad, Rakyat Management Services Sdn. Bhd., and The Pacific Insurance Berhad.
The landmark forum brought together over 450 distinguished participants, including ASEAN policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, to strengthen regional collaboration, promote sustainable growth, and enhance global competitiveness.
Discussions during the forum centred on three transformative thematic tracks:
Scaling ASEANโs Digital Future โ Leveraging AI, e-commerce, and inclusive technology.
Building a Green ASEAN โ Driving sustainable practices and advancing the green economy.
Unleashing ASEANโs Entrepreneurial Spirit โ Empowering MSMEs for global market success.

The forum was graced by Guest of Honour YAB Datoโ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, Menteri Besar Selangor, and Special Guest YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry, whose presence and insights greatly enriched the discussions.
